We love touring our school with new families. Here are a few of the common questions we get asked.

Do I need to send in snack or is this provided?

We provide an assortment of cracker choices for snack each day to include Ritz crackers, Saltines and Graham Crackers. On Wednesdays, we offer an additional "Super Snack" fruit or veggie option. Students who stay all day will need to bring a nut-free lunch.

My child is exposed to more than one language in our home. Will they be successful at LANK?

Yes! We have many students at LANK who are learning multiple languages. Several members of our staff are bilingual as well. Our curriculum provides a lot of opportunities for language acquisition through reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Will I get to see pictures of my child at school?

Our teachers love to capture special moments throughout the day to share with families. You can expect to receive a weekly newsletter filled with pictures from the week and may also receive special individual pictures during the week.

You have a big playground. How often do students get to play outdoors?

Here at LANK, we LOVE nature and know our students do too. Students spend a minimum of 30-45 minutes outdoors a day. On special days, your child's teacher may take the class on a nature walk behind the school or serve snack or a birthday celebration outdoors on our deck or participate in a school-wide dance party. It is important to always dress your child in layers as we love to go outside even on cooler days.
