Kindergarten Program: Age 5 by Sept. 30th
The LANK Kindergarten program is intended to provide students with a small, nurturing, play-based environment to learn kindergarten skills and state standards through an integrated approach.

LANK has proudly reinstated this beloved program, and we currently have limited enrollment opportunities available.
Why Choose LANK Kindergarten?
Experience the difference of a small class size, with a maximum of 10 students, ensuring personalized attention tailored for every child.
Our curriculum rigorously covers all Virginia Standards of Learning, delivered at a pace that caters to the unique needs of each student. Led by experienced LANK teachers Mrs. Weeden and Mrs. Atkins, daily lessons integrate the Science of Reading Program (consistent with FCPS standards) and Handwriting Without Tears (developed by an Occupational Therapist). Students thrive through daily project-based learning, emphasizing hands-on exploration and a wealth of art experiences.
Beyond the classroom, students flourish in our nature-filled environment, enjoying three daily outdoor recess opportunities, engaging nature walks, and at least two enriching field trips annually.
Our Kindergarten students develop valuable leadership skills and confidence by serving as student patrols and mentors to younger children within the LANK community.
