Our Administration

An excellent administration is the foundation for an outstanding school. Our dedicated administrators work together to ensure the fulfillment of the school’s mission and philosophy. The administration is comprised of experienced staff committed to delivering the best in early childhood education.

Kate Bauer
Executive Director

Originally from Maine, I have been fortunate to serve as both a teacher and school leader in a variety of settings along the east coast. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University’s Wheelock School of Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. With over two decades of experience in educational settings, I couldn’t be happier to be the Executive Director at LANK. Play is such a powerful tool in young learning. I’ve seen firsthand the impact that play-based learning has on young children as they develop and grow as learners.

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog. I love cooking, gardening and exploring the outdoors.

Patty Marsh
Administrative Director

My love for LANK began in 1983 when I first became a LANK parent and frequent classroom substitute teacher at LANK. My background is in special education and art history. Upon the departure of LANK’s Administrator, I was asked to assume those responsibilities and became a staff member. My children had attended LANK, and I could not have imagined a more perfect environment in which to work. After more than 30 years at LANK, that love continues. This warm, nurturing little preschool that fosters a love of learning in toddlers and preschoolers is truly a unique place that nurtures its staff as well as its students.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, needlepoint, and traveling with my husband, children and grandchildren.
