Summer Camps

Summer camp at LANK places great emphasis on outside activities as well as an in-depth exploration of the chosen camp theme. In the past, children have been on Geo-Safaris, explored various science topics, and have delved into the best of children’s literature. We’re always very excited to see what our LANK camp kids are going to explore next!

Summer camp themes and fees are announced during the second half of the school year. Camp enrollment begins after the regular school year enrollment process has been completed. This typically occurs in late February/early March.

There are two summer camps currently offered at LANK:

Traditional Summer Camp

LANK’s traditional summer camp begins in early June and is offered in two sessions lasting two weeks each. Children may attend Session 1, Session 2, or both sessions for four weeks total.

Camp runs from 9AM until 12PM, has an optional lunch program available until 1PM, and is open to LANK enrollees ages three and above. Children must be toilet trained.

Gallery LANK! Camp

In July LANK proudly presents Gallery LANK! This two week art camp features in-depth experiences in art by focusing on design, color, and form using a wide array of mixed media. Children complete pieces both individually and in groups and create a portfolio of finished work. Finished art is kept at LANK then displayed during the final day of camp at Gallery LANK!

Each year a theme is chosen for our Gallery LANK! camp. A recent theme of “Big Apple Art” transformed the gallery into the sidewalks of New York complete with skyscrapers, street vendors, and, of course, Central Park.

Gallery LANK! Is offered to rising 5 Day and Kindergarten and first graders. The camp meets from 9AM until 1PM. Children bring a bag lunch to eat with their camp friends.
