Applications

Applications for the 2012/13 school year will be available beginning on December 14, 2011.

• All students currently enrolled at LANK who are eligible to continue into the next program will automatically receive an application via backpack mail.
• Applications to the Kindergarten program are available by request and will also be distributed at the Kindergarten Information Session.

New families may pick up an application during an Open House, may request one from the office, or can download and print the form by clicking on the Application Form link.

Application Fee

• There is a $125 application fee per applicant. This fee becomes non-refundable after notification to parents of placement of child.

All returning family applications and application fees are due by 12:00 noon on February 6, 2012.

All former family applications and application fees are due by 12:00 noon on February 8, 2012.

All new family applications and application fees must be received in the LANK office by 12:00 noon on February 10, 2012.

Acceptance Notification

Parents will receive notification of their child’s placement as soon as possible after the date the applications were due.

Building Fee and Tuition

The LANK Building Fee is an annual fee that is used to finance capital improvements to the building and grounds. This fee is $50 per year for each half day the child is in attendance.

The Building Fee is due in May when the Parent-School Contract is signed, for all classes except Kindergarten. The Kindergarten Building Fee is due at the time of registration in February. The maximum building fee per family is $500. The Building Fee is non-refundable.

Tuition for all programs is set on a yearly basis.

All tuition requires a first payment to be made by May 5, 2012 or when the contract is signed. Monthly payments are then made in eight equal installments due the 1^st of each month beginning September 1, 2012 and ending April 1, 2013.

Kindergarten tuition is paid in 10 installments. The first is due by May 5, 2012. The second payment is due August 1, 2012. Monthly payments are then made in eight equal amounts due the first of each month beginning September 1, 2012 and ending April 1, 2013.

Anyone wishing to pay in full may do so.

Forms due (medical, birth certificate/passport)

The Commonwealth of Virginia requires that each child submit a current Health Form to the school before admission. This form needs to be completed by a physician. All children new to LANK must present an original birth certificate or passport before they attend school in September. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
